A Man Of Many Sorrows - AKA OOU/Our Own Understanding

As you can see from the AKA's above A MAN OF MANY SORROWS has been through a few title changes. But never any changes to the Lyrics. This Song was originally a Poem written many many years ago in response to debate with a friend as he kindly walked me home. I was doing my best to get my point over that every 'ism' or 'ist' has its dark side, even when they start out as great Aspirations / Philosophies.

We were both born after WW2 and grew up with black & white Documentaries called 'The World at War'.....The images that came back to me as I wrote and later developed the Music, are WW1 (or any war since or before come to that). The clanging of Metal against Metal on the Battle field. Yalta, mentioned in the Song, is where the "world leaders" after WW2 came together to decide on the Future Europe as they saw it at the time.
